Who is bacool?
Crypto researcher, analyst, trader/investor, user of DeFi.
I am an advanced cryptocurrency user with ~4 years of diverse experience in cryptocurrency, from spot & futures instruments to being an end-user of DeFi protocols, decentralized exchanges, and even NFT’s as of late.
I utilize a research-oriented approach for crypto assets including studying coin utility & tokenomics, developer activity, other qualitative analysis, on-chain data, plus using open-source financial data from block explores, Dune Analytics, and other data.
How I do this is leveraging primary sources from projects themselves, institutional research aggregators such as The Block and Messari, VC firms and their publications, blockchain explorer trends/data and more.
Before crypto, I have experience trading US equities, options, and SPX futures so that has given me a good base of knowledge regarding the interplay between global financial markets and cryptos.
Given how nascent it is, I believe cryptocurrency offers the most asymmetrical opportunity for financial advancement, growth, freedom, but it is also rife with risks in return.
